Thank you for choosing Rallypeople! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rallypeople mobile application and services. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use Rallypeople.
Eligibility & Account Requirements
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use Rallypeople. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Account Responsibility
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under your account. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary to keep it accurate.
One Account Per Person
Each person may only maintain one Rallypeople account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of all accounts.
Using Rallypeople
What You Can Do
Create and join hangouts with friends
Discover and participate in public hangouts hosted by other users
Connect with friends and build your social network
Earn points and rewards for participating in activities
Share photos and experiences from your hangouts
Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content
⚠️ IMPORTANT: By using Rallypeople, you agree to these terms before posting any content
Rallypeople maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive community for all users.
Prohibited Content - Immediate Ban
The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:
Sexual or pornographic content of any kind, including suggestive imagery or text
Child exploitation or abuse including any content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
Hate speech, racism, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
Violence, gore, or graphic content including threats of violence or harm
Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any user or group
Illegal activities including drug sales, human trafficking, or promotion of criminal behavior
Self-harm or suicide content that promotes or glorifies such behavior
Spam, scams, or fraudulent content designed to deceive or exploit users
Impersonation or identity theft including fake profiles or misrepresentation
Malicious links or malware that could harm other users' devices or privacy
⚡ Enforcement Actions
First Violation: Immediate account suspension and content removal. User must acknowledge terms before reinstatement.
Second Violation: Permanent account ban with no appeal.
Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban, content reported to authorities where legally required, and IP/device ban to prevent new account creation.
User Agreement Before Posting
Before posting any content on Rallypeople, you explicitly agree that:
You have read and understand this zero-tolerance policy
All content you post complies with these Terms and applicable laws
You accept immediate termination of your account for any violation
You will not create new accounts to circumvent a ban
You consent to content monitoring and automated detection systems
Reporting Violations
We rely on our community to help maintain safety. If you encounter objectionable content or abusive behavior:
• Use the in-app "Report" button immediately
• Block the user to prevent further contact
• Contact our safety team at safety@rallypeople.com
• For emergencies, contact local authorities first
🔍 Content Moderation
Rallypeople employs both automated systems and human moderators to detect and remove objectionable content. All reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. We may proactively remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.
⚖️ Legal Consequences
Violations involving illegal content will be reported to law enforcement authorities. This includes but is not limited to child exploitation, threats of violence, illegal drug activity, and other criminal behavior. We fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations and will provide user information when legally required.
Additional Prohibited Conduct
Beyond our zero-tolerance policy, the following behaviors are also prohibited:
Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the app's security
Using automated systems or bots to access the service
Soliciting or using the app for unauthorized commercial purposes
Scraping or collecting user data without permission
Manipulating the points system or engaging in fraudulent activity
Creating fake rallies or events to mislead users
Violating any local, state, national, or international laws
Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you post on Rallypeople, including photos, messages, and hangout descriptions. However, by posting content, you grant Rallypeople a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app and for promotional purposes.
You're responsible for all content you post and must ensure you have the rights to share it.
Our Content
The Rallypeople app, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Rallypeople and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Points & Rewards
Rallypeople offers a points and rewards system to encourage participation and engagement. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
Points are earned through participation in hangouts and activities
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the rewards program at any time
Points may be forfeited if your account is suspended or terminated
Manipulation of the points system is prohibited and may result in account termination
Safety & Liability
Personal Safety
Rallypeople facilitates connections between users, but we're not responsible for your interactions or meetings with other users. Always exercise caution when meeting people in person, especially for the first time. Meet in public places and let someone know where you're going.
Limitation of Liability
Rallypeople is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Third-Party Activities
Hangouts and activities organized through Rallypeople are created by users, not by Rallypeople. We're not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any user-organized activities.
Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
You violate these Terms of Service
Your conduct harms other users or Rallypeople
We're required to do so by law
Your account has been inactive for an extended period
You can delete your account at any time through the app settings or by visiting our account deletion page.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Rallypeople after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Rallypeople is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Contact First
If you have a dispute with Rallypeople, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Most concerns can be addressed quickly through direct communication.
Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Rallypeople regarding your use of the service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment: You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
